PROGRESS REPORT ON LABASA CASE
The 37 year old school teacher who was being investigated for 3 cases of annoying person and 1 case of indecent assault has been charged.
The accused has been charged with 1 count of indecent assault and 1 count of indecently assaulting and annoying any person in relation to a case involving one of the four victims aged 14.
He will be appearing at the Labasa Magistrates Court this morning.
Meanwhile the investigation into the other alleged offences against the remaining victims aged 12 and 13 continues.
The incidents are alleged to have occurred while the four girls were taken out for a swim in the Vunimoli River sometimes between April and November last year.
