PUBLIC ADVISORY
The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) advises its customers in parts of Nasinu that there will be an interruption in water supply today, from now till 5pm, Thursday 8thJanuary 2015.
Impacted areas include:
- Nasole Area
- Piling Rd, Joyce Place, Godfrey Rd and Cevuga Place
- Part of Kings Rd from Nasole Junction to Laqere Bridge
- Lagakali Place, Jale St, Maba Place and Cliftone Rd
- Part of Nasinu Rd
The interruption in supply is due to repair works being carried out on a burst main at Kings Rd in Nasole.
The Authority advises its customers residing in these areas to store water for their immediate needs and use it wisely during this temporary disruption in supply.
However, water carts will be on standby to service the affected areas as and when the need arises.
Supply is expected to normalise by 6pm, today (08/01).The Authority highly regrets inconvenience caused to its customers.
