An 18 year old Laborer of Nadi has been remanded in custody by the Nadi Magistrates Court for allegedly raping an eight year old girl in Nadi.
It is alleged that the incident had occurred on the 3rd of this month where the 18 year old allegedly raped his 8 year old neighbor.
The 18 year old has appeared before Magistrate Peni Dalituicama yesterday who has transferred the matter to Lautoka High Court for further investigation on the case.
Meanwhile, the matter has been adjourned until tomorrow as investigations on the matter continue.
