The Courts IDC pools were yet again drawn out for the 75th year in tournament with also marking the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of the event at the Courts branch in Lautoka yesterday.
In the Super Premier Division: In Group A; Lautoka Ba, Labasa and Rewa while in Group B; Suva, Nadroga, Navua and Nadi.
In the Premier Division:” In Group A; T/Naitasiri, Lami, Taveuni and Nadogo. In Group B, Rakiraki, Tavua, Bua and Dreketi. In Group C, Vatukoula, Nasinu, Seaqaqa and Savusavu.
While drawing the pools by fans that were present at the Courts branch in Lautoka yesterday, President of Fiji Football, Rajesh Patel stated the relationship of the tournament that it had with the people, the fans and the sponsors. He also stated if the sponsorship by Courts could be increased come next year.
“We ask Courts if the sponsorship for next year could be increased for organizing better tournaments,” Fiji Football President, Rajesh Patel said.
While handing over the sponsorship cheque with the sum of $150,000.00, Courts Fiji Limited’s CEO, PL Munasinghe said,” surely the company will look into increasing the sponsorship”.
“Courts Fiji is extremely pleased to be part of this tournament and to continue the tradition of sponsoring this tournament for the 14th consecutive year,” Mr Munasinghe said.
Meanwhile the Courts IDC 2013 tournament will be played at Lautoka’s Churchill Park from the 9 till the 13 of October next month.
