Digicel introduces Fiji’s thinnest smartphone

By SATISH NARAIN of Digicel Fiji

Thursday 19 September – Digicel Fiji is set to introduce Fiji’s thinnest smartphone, Huawei P6 in the local market from next month.

In fact the top of the range smartphone is up for grabs in a joint MH – Digicel promotion where you can both shop at MH Supermarkets and win or Top Up your Digicel phones and be in the draw to win the new Huawei P6 phones.

Digicel Fiji’s head of marketing, Sheryl Singh said,” this smartphone is great value and its 6.18mm thickness represents cutting edge technology.”

“It has a sleek metallic body and weighs just 120grams. It’s the type of phone you just have to show off”

“It is very slim and light and easy to tuck away in pockets or clutch bags when you are out and about.”

The LCD screen measures 4.7 inches across the diagonal and its 1,280-by-720-pixel resolution makes it comfortable to view video, read e-books and browse the web.

Singh added,” the P6 is a very likeable smartphone. Huawei clearly knows how to do handset design and it’s also pretty handy with user interface tweaks.”

“The best thing you would say about Huawei P6 is that you won’t forget the first time you hold it, it’s an amazingly thin phone.”

With maturing smartphones hitting the market even hundredths-of-a-centimeter count at this level of design.

The new Huawei P6 smartphones will be sold at all Digicel flagship stores Fiji wide from next month. In the meantime, you can enter into the draw for your P6 in the joint MH/Digicel promotion.
