NADI police have confirmed the death of a Fiji Electricity Authority employee who is believed to have died from electrocution while working on a power line in town this morning.
According to police, the incident happened at a power-pole located near the post office and Nadi market junction.
Officer-in-charge ASP Petero Tuinirarama confirmed the incident to The Jet newspaper this morning.
He said more details of the accident will be revealed later. Efforts to contact FEA for comments have not been successful.
