Nadi will be a hive of activity from late next week when International athletes will converge to take part in the first series of Triathlon.

Close to 150 athletes with their partners and families will be arriving here. Denarau Corporation will be in charge of the event.

Sunday, May 26 will see the main event taking place and part of Nadi Town will be closed and traffic diverted where necessary.

The main street will be affected from about 8am to 11am. Details of traffic diversion and other information will be made available soon.

Event organizers are requesting everyone to support such an event and would like to see as many people in town lining the street to cheer them on.

Cyclists will coming in from Denarau, over the bridge and passing through the main street towards the temple, then on to Nadi Back Road up to Votualevu round-about and back from there into the main street again then on to Denarau.

More such events will be planned in the future depending on the success of this series.
