Nadi gears up for Naitasiri

Nadi aims to bring about better performances as they will take on Naitasiri this Saturday.

The side won their match against Tailevu, 18-13, during the first round of the Digicel Cup.

Head Coach, Iliesa Tanivula said the game was a good exposure for the players.

“It was good to get a win, especially for our young players as they played well. And hopefully we continue to performing all throughout the tournament,” he said.

Tanivula said despite the win, they still need to work on some areas.

“There’s a lot to work on, the line outs and scrums especially, but overall the defence. The players are also training very well and that’s a positive sign,” he said.

In other Digicel round two matches, Lautoka to host Tailevu in Churchill Park, Nadroga to take on Vatukoula in Lawaqa Park, Northland to take on Suva in Gatward park, Tavua to take on Ovalau in Garvey Park, Macuta to take on Namosi in Subrail Park.

Nadi will take on Naitasiri in Prince Charles at 3pm
