Magistrate Chandani Dias was ceremoniously sworn in today at Government House by His Excellency the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
The new member of the Fijian judiciary has worked as an Attorney at Law and Additional Magistrate in Sri Lanka.
Ms Dias completed her higher education at the Sri Lanka Law College and has attended many international workshops relating to gender based violence, intellectual property and cyber crime.
