Police to conduct recruit drive next week

The Fiji Police Force will be conducting a recruitment drive from next Wednesday.

Police Spokesman Atunaisa Sokomuri said seventy places are being offered in the basic recruitment course and these officers will undergo sixteen weeks of training before graduating as police officers.

“The minimum level of education is Form seven pass and they must by under the age of 28,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Force will also be recruiting officers cadets .

An important aspect is the minimum entry requirement is that applicants must have a degree and of good character.

The recruitment drive will be done in conjunction with basic recruitment drive.

Places of interview will be the same as those of the basic recruitment drive.

The recruitment centers will be the Fiji Police Academy in Nasova, Lautoka Police Station and Labasa Police Station.
