PRESIDENT TO BRING HOME A330

HIS Excellency the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau (pictured above) will be at the forefront of the culmination of months of excitement when the A330 aircraft arrives home next week.

The head of state left for Hong Kong earlier today after accepting a call to officiate at the A330 welcome reception that will kick-start there on Monday.

The welcome reception will allow the airline to showcase its A330 to key members of the Hong Kong and China travel trade thus increasing their understanding of the airline’s product and services on that route, and promote Fiji tourism.

The President, together with Air Pacific executives, will then accompany the aircraft on its maiden journey home on Monday evening and will be chief guest at the welcome reception at the Nadi International Airport.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and his Cabinet Ministers together with other guests will await the President’s arrival that will begin the festivities here.

The aircraft will carry the Fiji Airways new logo although as a business Air Pacific will start using this moniker after June.

The reception in Fiji will feature members of Fiji’s tourism industry, business community, executives from Rolls-Royce, Airbus and Panasonic, government dignitaries and Air Pacific staff.
