Prime Minister, Hon. Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama has sent a congratulatory message to his Indian counterpart, Mr Narendra Modi on the 66th Republic Day of India this week.
PM Bainimarama expressed his best wishes for PM Modi’s continued personal well-being and happiness as well as the prosperity of the people of India, world over.
PM Bainimarama thanked PM Modi for his recent and historic visit to Fiji on November 19th last year.
“The discussions that we had, has further demonstrated our united stand for democracy, solidarity and prosperity for our nation and its people,” PM Bainimarama said.
“I sincerely believe that the effective partnership between our countries, our shared interests, and cooperation based on mutual values and understanding will continue to serve as a strong foundation for the common future perspective of peaceful and progressive nations.”
India celebrated its 66th Republic Day on Monday 26th January, 2015.
