Telecom Fiji Limited is introducing a new service to the Fijian Market which will enable easier internet access. Customers with Connect Broadband accounts will now have an opportunity to use their accounts to join to any connect hotspots. Telecom Fiji is currently in the process of expanding the WiFi network.
Telecom Fiji, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mothilal De Silva says, “this new service is aptly named UNIFI and creates a nested meshed WiFi service that will help our valued customers use their existing broadband account at any Connect WiFi hotspot”.
Non Telecom customers can also take advantage of this service and join a Connect WiFi hotspot by obtaining a Connect WiFi voucher. Unifi will make internet accessibility easier and simpler since it allows multiple users to access to the same broadband account.
Telecom Fiji Limited has also developed an android application, the first Fijian telecommunication company to have such an application. Users can download this application on their android devices and automatically join the Connect WiFi network every time they near a hotspot.
It is valentines tomorrow and Telecom Fiji Limited is inviting the general public to use this new service as they will be providing free WiFi access tomorrow.
