TRAVEL AGENTS EXPO TO PROVIDE GREATER SELLER VALUE AT SOUTH PACIFIC TOURISM EXCHANGE 2014

South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) CEO, Ilisoni Vuidreketi today launched an exciting retail agent component of the South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE) 2014, taking place in Auckland, New Zealand from the 22-23 May, 2014.

At the launch, Mr Vuidreketi said “Exhibiting as a seller at the inaugural SPTE, will now provide even more value, with the inclusion of the inaugural South Pacific Tourism Exchange Travel Agents Expo in the program”.

“The South Pacific Tourism Exchange Travel Agents Expo will provide an additional bonus to sellers at the South Pacific Travel Exchange.”

“This is over and above meeting with up to 50 international wholesalers at SPTE, with the South Pacific Tourism Exchange Travel Agents Expo targeting agents from Auckland and other nearby centers,” he said.

Mr Vuidreketi also said, “The inclusion of the South Pacific Tourism Exchange Travel Agents Expo will also allow New Zealand travel agents to engage directly with representatives from 16 Pacific island countries, including 100 hotels, resorts, airlines, and other tourism related businesses, from all over the Pacific, exhibiting at the South Pacific Tourism Exchange 2014”.

He added that this will also provide a valuable opportunity for Pacific Island exhibitors to generate sales with valuable front line travel consultants in New Zealand, a key market for all Pacific nations.

The South Pacific Tourism Exchange Travel Agents Expo will take place on Thursday 22 May 2014 from 5.30pmat the Pullman Hotel, Auckland.
