“The face of climate change” this was the theme for World Earth day which is celebrated annually, worldwide.
The event mainly focuses on the support for environment protection.
“World Earth Day marks an important day for us as we look at our environment and try to improve what is needed to be improved”, World Wide Fund Sustainable Coastal Research Manager, Akisi Bolabola said.
We also have projects being laid out but at the moment we are still trying to sum up stuffs from Earth Hour, she said.
Celebrated by more than 192 countries, the event was designated as International Mother Earth Day focusing on environmental issues.
